Notes to Self: Thanksgiving Day Massacre
Bowling Green is a good long haul from here. It might be possible to do it in a 24 hour push. Haven't tried that since the infamous Logan, Utah run (5 parsecs, for the record) but I think it could be done.

I did find tickets on Northwest from Denver to Detroit for $309 each. That was Tuesday to Friday, I believe. Kinda expensive, but maybe worthwhile. Like Matt said, we can pay for car rental or help out some way, whatever if necessary.

And, just to taunt you, Kylan and Karen did the whole way straight through...WITH A TWO YEAR OLD! But they're clearly insane. :)

Okay, so I'm an obsessive plane-ticket searcher. What I have discovered is that you can get a direct flight on Northwest (nwa.com) leaving Monday and returning Friday for $298.81.

American Airlines had the same dates for slightly cheaper, but one of the flights had a stop, and I'd always rather pay $20 than spend 2 or 3 hours extra in airports.

Anyway... I'll butt out of your travel plans now. This cheap plane ticket thing is like an addiction...must...find...cheapest!

I'm drawing a lot of conclusions here, but... Should your family happen to be on a trip and find yourselves driving along I-80 somewhere between Colorado and Ohio, and want to stop for a break or maybe a meal in, say, eastern Nebraska - give me a call!

I STILL talk about Logan and that crazy Taco Bell.

Louisville, KY to Denver can be done in 22 hours so I'm sure it's possible to get to Bowling Green in 24 :)
