You Know You've Arrived ...
When you have a
cover you're afraid to show the wife.

Ah, fantasy women in armor. A trope that will never die ... even if some fantasy women do. ;)

On a serious note, the artist is THE Clyde Caldwell. Wow. Consider this author stunned into fanboy silence. You can pick this one up at Gen Con.

Whoa. I....whoa. Damn. What a conflict of ideas here, Harley. :)

I'm not sure I can even tell my wife about this one.... ;)

But Caldwell! Is this a DCC? I can't even tell...but I KNOW it's Áereth.

It seems like the horns on that strategically placed skull might get a little uncomfortable.

When I first saw that cover, I thought Goodman was publishing a Dragonlance module! On the other hand, maybe this is the new, vaunted "2nd Edition style". ;)

So, you actually wrote an adventure with a beautiful, scantily armored woman in it? Or is this artistic license?

Looks like I'll have to find something ELSE to wear to GenCon...

Jeff,
Nods. Not a DCC, but a new line of adventures that will run concurrent with the DCCs.

Rache,
You should know better than anyone that some clothes are designed just for standing and being looked at and not moving. ;)

And yeah, that glass die is *really* cool.

Cass,
The cover illo accurately depicts the bad guys (or gals, as the case might be), however it is a reprint, not an original composed for the adventure.

JW,
Shoot. And I just ordered you a shirt that read "armored nipples." Dang it to heck.

Wow. Cool!

Looking forward to hearing the details about the new line at some point. Sounds great!

Mike,

And I'm hoping you'll write for it!

Huzzah! That's some impressive Armor Class you have, young lady!

Wow, Clyde Caldwell doing the cover for your adventure... that's awesome. He's one of my favorite D&D artists, and his Count Strahd images are iconic.

I have mentally managed to erase ridiculous female armor from my consciousness. There was armor in that link?

However, what in the name of the Sainted Goat is that ridiculous little thing in her left hand? Pube shaver?

*rants off into the horizon*

There was something in her hand? Next you're going to tell me her eyes are higher up...

Oddly enough my friend had a VERY similar figurine last night when we were playing (sans shoulder spikes) so I just had to choose it in honor of your cover.
