What they neglected to report was that a larger, almost humanlike skull was found nearby.

Naga.

Sweet indeed.

A 16-foot Burmese python was enough to handle.

I can't even imagine trying to handle one of these ...

Cool! Now let's see it tackle 20 of these little darlings.

How was D&D XP, by the way?

If it was a human skull, that dude's last thoughts were probably grim.

here's a youtube video of it - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Arwu2RvL9Aw

Actually, I don't think you'd find a skull.

The big snakes don't leave much behind besides white powder. Constrictors are like that. :)

I found your site trying to figure out if the phrase "Choose Death" (as seen on a t-shirt in the movie The Wrestler) had any sort of significance, but instead I stumbled upon your "Old Men on Wheels" video. Is it just my imagination, or is some of that filmed on the CU campus (more specifically, behind Macky Auditorium)?!

I'm not sure which is more interesting, that there is a shirt in The Wrestler that says Choose Death or that you semi-randomly stumbled upon that skate video. :)

I was part of some of the filming that took place at various locations in Fort Collins, but I know some of it is from Boulder too. Grim/H would have to confirm those parts, but I suspect you are right.

Well what weirds me out, and I had to check again this morning,. is that I think I *know* someone in that video, too! I was expecting a bunch of senior citizens on Harleys, actually...

I go to school at CU-Boulder and walk past Macky every single day. I actually didn't notice until a skateboarding-freak friend, whom I'd shown the video, asked me if it was filmed here.

I did more research on the shirt, and an actual wrestler ("The Ram" is fictional) actually did (does?) the twisted, gory moves in the wrestling ring as shown in the film. And it's the actual guy, I guess.

This blog came up #2 in the search for "Choose Death," second to something I just didn't want to click on ("The most aesthetic death resource on the web" -- ew?).

Demon,

Yep. Amazing eye. We did all our filming at CU and CSU ... the Front Range has some of the best street skating in the west.

Re: Choose Death. Northing to do with the westler, but I might have to pick up the t-shirt. :)

You're sort of like "Mt. Ruzicka."

I'll let Saurus to be the first one to announce, "And I shall summit thee!"

I actually wasn't the one who noticed. I probably wouldn't have re-watched it had my friend Ryan not asked me where it was filmed. Ryan comes here from Golden to skate (and is at some point going to teach me how to longboard). But I could tell it's Macky, and I can recognize some of the CSU campus (though I'm only familiar with a little bit of it, I hung around there in high school). And, well, I think I'd recognize Joel any day.

If I find the shirt, I'll let you know! I want a girl's cut, because I thought it was kinda cool, but I bet you can find a regular t-shirt out there.

Hey look! That was easy... this is exactly like the one in the movie.
